Hey guys, well this recipe is inspired by the cauliflower recipe by stephsplate, so definitely check out her great recipe video as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2BDhD2F75P8 . I totally love to have this sauce with pasta, it's so good. You have to try it! :)
You will need:
about 5 (medium) cauliflower florets
about 180 ml of oat milk
2 garlic cloves
2 tbsps of nutritional yeast
2 tbsps of (saltfree) tomato paste
1 tsp of paprika powder
1 tsp of curry powder
2 tbsps of oregano (or whatever herbs you like)
4 leaves of basil
some mushrooms or broccoli
optional: a pinch of salt and black pepper; roasted pine nuts
How to make it:
add your oat milk into a pot
add garlic and cauliflower
cook until the cauliflower is ready (should not be too soft)
add nutritional yeast, spices a, herbs and tomato paste
put everything into a blender
blend until all cauliflower chunks are gone
put the sauce back into the pot
add mushrooms/broccoli and boil until soft
add salt and black pepper if you want
add the sauce to your pasta and maybe top it with roasted pine nuts
