vegan apple cake

When I first came to the vegan lifestyle I thought I could never have my grandma's apple cake again, but this one tastes exactely the same!

















What you will need:
  • 250 grs of wheat flour
  • 200 mls of plat milk
  • 120 mls of sunflower oil
  • about 5 apples ( depending on the size)
  • 1 package of baking powder
  • 1 package of vanilla sugar + some more 
  • a pinch of salt

How to make it:

1. mix all the ingredients (except for the apples) together, till they form a nice dough

2. take a cake pan and line it with baking paper, so that the dough won't stick to it.

3. add the dough into the baking-pan,

4. peel the apples, cut them into quaters or eights and incise them a little bit with a knife.

5. place the chunks ontop of your dough and add some more vanilla sugar ontop

6. put the baking-pan into your oven at 180°celsius for about 35 mins ( till it gets brown, you can also use a wooden toothpick, prick it into your cake and see if any dough sticks to it, if not the cake should be fine )
